Julio Lucero was born in Austin, Texas. His first book, “Abuelita, I Am Your Grandson” is a collection of autobiographical essays that pull from his experience working in the family business, a Mexican restaurant. When not writing and learning the book business, you can find him at your nearest salsa social or riding his bike around town.
