Julio Lucero
Julio Lucero was born in Austin, Texas. His first book, Abuelita, I Am Your Grandson, is a collection of autobiographical essays that pull from his experience working in the family business, a Mexican restaurant. His second book, I Miss Getting Lost, is a haiku-inspired travelogue capturing modern Yucatán through hybrid verse, memory, and intentional curiosity.
When not writing and learning the book business, you can find him at your nearest salsa social or riding his bike around town.
